Hipster Weddings

My friends are always teasing me about my affinity for scarves, skinny jeans, Toms and bands no one has ever heard of. Always. I'm (probably) not a real Hipster, in spite of the aforementioned qualities and knowing way more about microbrewed beers than red wines. But I do really enjoy the whimsy of a DIY Barn Wedding, complete with mason jars, succulent centerpieces and homemade favors. Barn weddings are tomorrow's wedding du jour; I think you'll see how lovely the whimsy can be.

Today, for those of you wary of hipster ways, a friend of mine sent me a link to this infographic at Registry 29 today and it made me giggle, so I'm passing it along to you.

Keep this in mind next time you are at a fete with music you are not nearly cool enough to know about and a special wedding-brewed beer. And if you do find yourself in a Hipster Wedding situation, you can prepare yourself to take action. Enjoy!

A Proposal

This is not a typical wedding blog. I'm not getting married. Yet. But I have been planning my dream wedding since I was old enough to understand wht a poufy white dress and diamond ring meant. And I have been helping make other brides' wedding day dreams come true as an Event Planner since 2008. I want to showcase my ideas here, an outlet to create and put together and highlight some of the most brilliant wedding trends out there.

So, my proposal is this, will you marry me, day in day out?
